Skype 2.0.0.72, for instance, is a Skype stable release (the latest one, at the moment I'm writing this).
Entries that don't specify a version usually refer to the first beta, please test using the latest beta available on the Skype Linux Beta page, or the last available stable release Skype 2.0 (the version introducing webcam support) has been released as stable. The version number of Skype may be found in the middle of the about box, from the main menu. Specify which version of Skype you are using. Instructions for contributing to the lists This may differ from the list of webcams working in general on Ubuntu, given here. This page lists web cameras ("webcams") that are known to work with Skype.
